Exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join the growing IT Team within my Sevenoaks based client.
This new role is essential during a period of transitional business change for my client, in order to ensure compliance and manage control process with new project frameworks.
The successful candidate will take ownership of task deadlines and support colleagues across the organisation with project testing and the facilitation of smooth transitions. Relevant technical implementation experience is required for this role due to the close communication with other departments to contribute to activities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
* Coordinate technical and user testing, ensure that all issues and fixes are recorded and that arrangements are made for test sign-offs.
* Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
* Maintaining and monitoring project plans - validating task deadlines and capturing when they are met.
* Determining and documenting project changes, reporting any variances.
* Undertaking project tasks as required - including structured research into alternative solutions to user requirements and creation of project documentation - plans, tasks and testing records.
* Assess and record project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
* Organising, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings - documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
* Build strong relationships with IT colleagues, business stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers to coordinate the achievement of project objectives.
* Coordinate training plans and schedules and assist in providing training documentation.
* Ensure that all stakeholders are kept updated about project progress and have access to the information and training they need to be comfortable with new systems.
* Monitor project expenses, maintaining records and reporting any budget variations to management.
* Providing additional administrative support as needed.
