Fraud and Card Specialist - Part time
West Malling
Wednesday to Friday, 7 hour days!
(21 hours per week)
£26,650 pro rata
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Fraud and Card Specialist to join a large, successful and well reputed business in West Malling, on a part time and permanent basis.
If you have a strong background in retail banking, fraud investigation and experience dealing with card, cheque and other transactional fraud then this could be the right job for you!
You will be joining a small team of fraud, reconciliation and card specialists ensuring the delivery of an efficient and effective service is given to a loyal customer base.
Duties include:
* Being fully responsible for all areas of the day to day fraud management such as transaction monitoring, investigation and prevention, chargeback and dispute resolutions and to liaise with customers, banks and other appropriate institutions
* To deal with all fraud matters and advising on enhancement of policy and procedures
* Highlighting all emerging and existing fraud risks to senior management
* Drafting monthly fraud reports which will be used at Board/ Exec meetings
* Specialising in MasterCard Business and Personal Debit Card activities; balancing transactions to the card processor and card scheme
* Being the first point of contact for customers card processor and card scheme
The successful candidate will be/have:
* Minimum GCSE/ O'Level in English and Mathematics
* Knowledge of retail banking
* Previous experience of cheque or electronic fraud is desirable
* Confident in using all MS Office applications
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* The ability to multitask and prioritise workload
* Analytical with a high attention to detail
* A natural problem solver
This role is office based and requires an individual with a background in banking and fraud investigation. Ideally you will have experience dealing with card, online and other types of payment fraud.
