Can you see yourself in a varied role, with no two days the same? We don't sell widgets, we sell our imagination! We specialise in creative outdoor solutions to enable our customers to enjoy and make the best of their outdoor space whatever the weather.

This is a telephone based account management role where you will cover and support colleagues in developing accounts and dealing with inbound sales enquiries.

In this role you will be:

First point of contact for all inbound sales calls and email enquiries across our entire product range (artificial grass, irrigation, shade canopies, umbrellas, high end garden design & build etc),
Making sure to develop a relationship of trust with all of your new contacts and our existing customer base
Entering new customer details and details of their enquiry into our CRM system.
Consistently following carefully designed internal processes to ensure our customers always have an efficient and positive customer experience
Setting up meetings and surveys with potential clients, taking care to listen and respond to their wishes and allay any concerns
Coordinating site surveys in a logical fashion, considering the route, so that this activity is undertaken in the most fuel and time efficient way
Researching, preparing and delivering sales estimates, quotations, presentations and communications on our products and services
Proactively managing the sales pipeline through to the point of negotiating and closing deals in the shortest time possible
Positively handling complaints or objections, taking care to be solutions focussed
Weekly reporting on brochure requests, pipeline, sales leads, trends and financial data
Performing stock checks and ensuring that you reorder stock that has been sold
Proactively support the business with its marketing efforts and campaigns through use of networking sites and social media
Proactively gather feedback, seek reviews and photographs of completed projects to continually promote the business externally and to share with internal teams
Collaborate with team members to continually ensure the best customer experience
Regularly contribute to ongoing improvement of our internal processes so that we continue to enhance and refine our working practices
Contributing to the general day to day management and coordination of the office and warehouse

Business to Business
Advising our business to business customers on which products they need in their range so that they can maximise all sales opportunities
Informing them of new product ranges and identifying opportunities to close sales
Looking for more ways to grow the number of customers committed to our reseller programme, and ensuring a long-term beneficial trading relationship.

Business to Consumer
Proactively supporting our domestic customers by providing information on our products and services, upselling where possible

Managing your time effectively to make sure every lead is called and enquiry is followed up in a timely manner is no easy task either, but these are just the sorts of challenges that the right person for this job will relish.

You will also be someone who just loves social interactions, especially when it comes to making sure potential customers learn all they can from you about how Love Outdoors can transform their lives and businesses with our wonderful outdoor solutions, whether it be for a domestic customer considering the value of year round use of their garden and a mud free, realistic artificial grass solution, a bar or restaurant looking for your support with canopy or outdoor dining solutions and making a fast economic recovery as the hospitality sector re-opens when Covid-19 restrictions are eased, or a family looking to create a luxurious retreat at home with the use of our garden design and landscaping services.

You must have the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with the full range of products and services of the company so that you can confidently discuss them with our prospects. Naturally outgoing in nature with a desire to quickly create warm and positive relationships with the understanding that people do business with people, you will take a naturally creative approach to overcoming potential sales objections and appreciate the importance of quickly making the most of every opportunity as a potential sale or at the very least facilitating a positive customer experience ensuring even those we cannot help remember us in a positive light and leave with a warm feeling.

The business is forward thinking with it’s technology and systems in order to streamline tasks and processes so a high degree of IT literacy is very important.

The ideal candidate will have:

Ability to build strong relationships with business partners and colleagues
Excellent customer service and time management
Ability to multi-task and high organisational skills
Ability to influence existing clients and grow sales
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel
Hands-on experience with CRM software
Passion for sales and be a fast learner
Integrity as one of your core values
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
GCSE’s / proficient in English and Maths

Other Essential Information

Salary: £20,000 + Commission on Sales + Monthly and Special Performance Bonuses + Flexible Working Hours

Basic Package: Up to £24k for meeting basic monthly targets.
Additional Pay: Exceeding basic monthly targets increases your rate of commission and gives access to a special performance bonus for each month that targets are exceeded, offering the opportunity to earn up to £37.5k

Driver’s license: Desirable
