Road Freight Operator - Essex - VR/21890
The Company & Role:
Our client, a leading global logistics service provider based in Essex, is looking for a Road Freight Operator to join their team.
Road Freight Operator duties include:
Handling European groupage services, predominantly import.Arranging movement of freight from origin to final destination.Dealing with both international and national shipments.Liaising with customers, overseas partners and suppliers.
Skills and Experience required for the Road Freight Operator role:
Must have a good understanding of European road freight with 1-2 years experience.Capable of manually calculating costs and charges / revenue manually - a good understanding of taxable kilos is a must.Good customer service skills.Ability to work in a team but also be self-sufficient.
