We are currently recruiting for a High Street Customer Advisor for our client based in Sittingbourne/Faversham and surrounding areas

Purpose of the Job
To be a visible presence in each town centre and provide advice to the public and businesses on the High Street or Neighbourhood Shopping Area on measures in place for safe reopening.
You will ensure that the public are aware of any temporary public realm changes in place and on covid-19 regulations such as social distancing and wearing a face covering.
You may also be required to act as the key holder for the temporary gates in the high streets to enable the implementation of the temporary public realm changes.

Main Duties
To be a point of contact in each of the town centres for the public for town centre reopening enquiries, providing advice on public realm changes through leafleting and verbal messaging.
To use questionnaires and other engagement tools to capture any concerns from the public and businesses
To monitor the high street/neighbourhood shopping area usage and capture information of 'pinch points' causing social distancing issues or compliance concerns
To advise the public on covid-19 regulations such as social distancing and wearing a face covering
To collate feedback from visitors to the high streets in Swale and share suggestions for improvement to the project manager
To support officers managing the project where required
To be the key holder for temporary barriers in the High Streets and open/close the barriers as required.
You may also be required to work evenings and weekends to ensure that messaging is in place for all high street users

You will need
Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
Good Customer service skills
Happy to travel around Sittingbourne and surrounding areas
Experience of lone working

This role will be 37 hours per week between Monday-Sunday (every other weekend off)
