Supporter Experience Manager
Closing Date: Midday on Wednesday 10th February 2021
Interview Date: Tuesday 23rd February 2021
Salary Range: The salary for this post is up to £30,000. The salary or payment awarded to the successful candidate will take into account skills and experience.
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Kent. We have an agile working policy where staff can work from home, office or other agreed remote location. The location of employment will be the individual’s nearest Kent hub.
Globally and nationally wildlife is in steep decline. We appear to be reaching critical tipping points around the loss of biodiversity as well as around climate change, both being interlinked. Human society cannot prosper without wildlife and healthy ecosystems.
Kent’s wildlife needs to be restored to much higher levels. We can no longer allow common things to become rare. We can only do this by restoring large-scale habitat from degraded land. Doing this will contribute to solving global problems. But we won’t be able to do this unless we publicly aspire to a higher level of impact and show that we can deliver this.
We are looking for a confident team player to join us as Supporter Experience Manager to drive, deliver and continually improve supporter and visitor experience across our suite of visitor centres and nature reserves. You will lead the delivery of new and existing experiences that engage a wide range of audiences with the work of Kent Wildlife Trust. This will include the development and delivery of new eco-tourism opportunities, realising the potential of our visitor centres as event venues, and maximising income generation.
Drawing on your strong visitor experience knowledge you will use your creative, solution-focussed approach to develop and deliver new initiatives that drive engagement with our Wilder Kent vision.
The success of this role relies on your ability to combine a unique blend of public engagement and income generation.
