Cygnet Health Care is one of the UK’s largest independent providers of mental health care. Cygnet is now entering an exciting period of growth and we are looking to appoint a Reporting Accountant to join our growing Head Office Finance team based in Wrotham Heath, Sevenoaks.

To support the Group Management Accountant with Reporting internally and externally. Support and Business Partnering for the Head of Billing

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to
• Production and development of weekly forecast by site
• Review and development of site reporting – Dashboards, MD report and variance reports
• Production of monthly 1500 / 1501 reports
• Member of the SEI project team and providing training to Finance as necessary
• Business Partner with the Head of Billing to support and control Billing and Debtors.
• Support the monthly preparation and reporting at month end of the accounts
• Improve existing site management account packs, align and standardise
• Support the production and control of year-end figures to PWC
• Ad hoc report writing

Experience
• Working towards a recognised accounting qualification
• Experience of using Sage or other accounting system
• Ability to work to strict deadlines and meet month end reporting targets
• Ability to interact with other finance teams
• Professionally mannered and well presented
• Sound Excel skills are essential for the role
• Ability to deal with complex queries and resolve in an efficient manner
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as being able to manage own workload daily
