My client is a growing (literally!) Food production company. They are currently looking to recruit a Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer - days. You'll have experience working within a fast paced production biased environment, Electrically qualified with mechanical skills.
The Role: Site Maintenance Engineer - days
Maintenance of all Production machinery
Fault diagnosis
Preventative Maintenance
Ensure that all MHE is maintained in line with service requirements
Maintain appropriate engineering/maintenance records
Train new production staff on safe use of machinery.
Ensure that health and safety polices, and legislation are adhered to.
Skills / Experience / Qualifications: Maintenance Engineer - days
City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical engineering.
Mechanical knowledge
Robotics experience
Previous proven experience of working with Flow Wrappers and Heat Sealers.
Able to work well with minimal supervision.
Good IT skills (Microsoft Package).
Ability to manage Continuous Improvement projects.
Capable of producing and implementing improvement plans to ensure the business KPI's are achieved.
Extensive previous experience within a similar role.
Understanding of food safety requirements.
