Machine Setter



My client, a renowned company within the Medical Industry, are looking for a Machine Setter to join their Crawley based team.



Overall Purpose of the Role:



To set up and operate production lines in accordance to specification set. To achieve hourly/ daily targets for the completion of the customer schedule in the most cost-effective manner. To constantly seek to improve the performances of the machines.



Key Responsibilities:



* Schedule compliance
* Product quality
* Engineering liaison
* Machine performance (throughput, downtime, utilisation)
* Progress reporting/communication
* Motivation
* Agreed remedial machine adjustment
* Continuous improvements
* Assist in the PDR process



Experience:



* Machine set up
* Remedial Machine adjustment
* Operate Production lines
* Care in the handling, set up and usage of tools
* Schedule compliance
* Hourly/daily target achievement
* Ability to communicate and deliver progress reports on machine performance.
