Even though based in Gillingham you are required to drive with your own car or at least working towards driving. Free parking available.
Monday - Thursday 6am - 4pm Friday 6am - 2pm
£18,000 per year + bonus - weekly pay until permanent
The process if successful: interview, half day unpaid trial and then start.
Experience is not essential but warehouse/factory experience would be ideal and any qualifications will help.
THE ROLES:
Membrane Installer: To apply thermo insulating membrane, banding to timber framed panels to the required specification acquired by computer aided design drawings and aid in the stacking of completed timber framed panels. Ensuring the pace of the production line is met and maintained.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Maintaining Stacking station organisation.
Maintaining Stacking station cleanliness.
Sheathing panels with membrane and banding to the correct specifications required.
Aid in the stacking of the completed and final product.
Operating and maintaining pneumatic air tools.
Ensuring specifications are followed using information provided by CAD drawings.
Ensuring product created is to the correct tolerances
Ensuring the appropriate pace of work is maintained.
Quality Management Operative: To ensure timber framed panels meet the required specification and tolerances required for each timber framed panel and aid in the stacking of completed timber framed panels. Ensuring the quality of work for each station is being met and maintained whilst recording data on digital devices.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Maintaining QMS and Stacking station organisation.
Maintaining QMS Stacking station cleanliness.
Ensuring Panels are processed in the correct order.
Aid in the stacking of the completed and final product.
Signing off completed product and ensuring all relevant wrapping and labelling is completed.
Operating and maintaining pneumatic air tools.
Ensuring specifications are followed using information provided by CAD drawings.
Ensuring product created is to the correct tolerances.
Sheet Cutter:To supply the production line with the necessary Insulation and sheeting material. Cutting to the required specifications/tolerances acquired from computer aided design drawings, ensuring efficient use of materials/wastage and maintaining the pace of the production line.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Maintaining Cutting station organisation.
Maintaining Cutting station cleanliness.
Loading and unloading sheet material onto saw benches.
Operating saws safely and correctly.
Marking completed sheet materials.
Allocating sheet materials to the correct locations.
Ensuring the appropriate pace of work is maintained.
Ensuring product created is to the correct tolerances.
Yardsman: To oversee the yard area covering our two factories, allocating our timber frame products into the correct bays and maintaining cleanliness throughout the yard. The yard man must take all deliveries inbound to the factory and allocate materials to the correct areas/factories. Load lorries for outbound deliveries. Manage waste material including loading skips. Pick timber for jobs
Responsibilities/Duties:
Maintaining yard organisation.
Maintaining yard cleanliness.
Loading outbound lorries.
Unloading inbound lorries.
Allocating stock/materials.
Operate forklifts and side loaders.
Job picking materials
Timber Cutter: To supply the production line with the necessary timber. Cutting to the required specifications/tolerances acquired from computer aided design drawings, ensuring efficient use of materials/wastage and maintaining the pace of the production line.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Maintaining Cutting station organisation.
Maintaining Cutting station cleanliness.
Loading and unloading timber onto saw benches/infeeds.
Operating manual, semi-automatic and automatic saws safely and correctly.
Marking timbers.
Allocating timber to the correct locations.
Ensuring the appropriate pace of work is maintained.
Ensuring product created is to the correct tolerances.
A covid test is essential before interview. Must have had negative results with in the last 7 days.
