We're looking for a professional Governance Team Leader to provide company secretarial services to Clarion Housing ensuring compliance with all statutory, regulatory and constitutional requirements and maintains the highest standards of probity.
You'll be responsible for managing the Governance Officers and overseeing our probity processes and the signing and sealing of various legal documents. You'll ensure policies and procedures are fit for purpose whilst providing advice and training to the business as required.
You'll also oversee the day to day administrative support provided by the team including: booking meeting rooms, hotel bookings, catering for all board and committee meetings, travel arrangements and processing expenses.
You'll assist board members with various ad-hoc requests and oversee the production of annual reports on training & attendance, the maintenance of statutory files and maintain departmental manual and computerised filing systems.
Other responsibilities include the following:
* Ensure compliance with the organisations Health & Safety policy & legislation
* Ensure compliance with organisations Equality & Dirversity policy
We're seeking professionals who have a good understanding of the company secretariat and a grasp of good governance. You'll have management experience and a proven track record of working across all levels of an organisation including with board members.
