Whilst this position has a sales element to it, the emphasis is on engineering support to the sales team and service department. Supporting them with technical solutions, project commissioning, producing project manuals, developing service plans and performing client training sessions.
In the past few years, upgrade work of existing projects has been an increasing revenue stream as many of our past projects reach maturity and we only see this continuing to grow. You would be responsible for site surveys, client proposals and costings as well as the management of sub-contractors of the project to a successful conclusion. You will also be responsible for sales to the mobile toilet systems to the events market. Clients in this sector tend to be owner operators who offer their client unique solutions, and it will be your responsibility to offer them equipment engineering solutions to meet there needs.
We require a self-motivated person to promote the concept of Evac vacuum drainage systems to building engineers, architects, and contractors as a genuine alternative to gravity drainage.
This role is for the complete all-rounder, with a building engineering background, knowledge of pumps, fluid movement, electrics, electronics and simple automation with PLC programming, but with the focus to understand that these engineering endeavours must translate into sales of product.
On top of these qualities you should have a good command of computer systems such as Auto Cad, Word, Excel, as well as an excellent customer service focus.
You will have your office in our Chatham office but working from your home base is perfectly acceptable. This position will take you all over the UK, so you must be prepared to travel and be away from home overnight on occasions.
We are offering
A competitive Salary in the region £42,000 per annum
A bonus scheme paid three times per year based on a percentage of sales
A company vehicle (commercial vehicle) or a car allowance of £3600 per annum if you prefer to use your own car + mileage payment.
Full expenses when travelling on company business.
