Join a well-established law firm, respected across Kent, as a key part of their professional, talented and esteemed conveyancing team.
The practice have built an exceptional reputation over their history - for the efficient, knowledgeable and professional service they deliver across multiple legal disciplines. Due to a retirement, they are now ready to bring on board a new hire into the property team – focusing especially on post-completion work.
In this role, you will work closely with the fee earners to help manage a busy, growing caseload – being the main internal contact for the post-completion part of the process. Therefore, prior experience setting up files/producing statements, registrations of Stamp Duty returns, Land Registry forms and AP1s, dealing with Requisitions, Preparing Completion Statements, closing files and any related financial administration (CHAPS/BACS forms) will be beneficial.
There is super scope to get involved elsewhere across the firm also.
This will suit someone with experience in a legal secretarial / administrative capacity - preferably within property, residential law or conveyancing.
You should be professional, reliable and a team-player, comfortable working independently and as part of a team. You must be local to Tunbridge Wells/Tonbridge/Sevenoaks, and have access to transport; and any experience using a case management system previously is beneficial too.
Monday-Friday 9-5 (could flex to part-time); some flexibility to work from home
Salary according with experience £22,000-24,500
Free parking nearby to their Tunbridge Wells office base.
