We are excited to be asked to look for an experienced confident person to join a busy established office in Tilbury.
Bookkeeper responsibilities:
This person must have a good understanding of all accounts procedures
• Must have a good knowledge of Quickbooks and Quickbooks online
• Coding supplier invoices, reconciling suppliers' statements, entering invoices on the accounting system, paying suppliers and maximising
the use of suppliers' credit facilities
• Invoicing customers, debt collecting
• Processing Payroll, making payment of wages, dealing with PAYE/NI remittances using RTI
• Submitting VAT returns
• Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations, maintenance of bank balance report
• Prepare monthly Profit and Loss statements
Bookkeeper requirements:
We want someone who is organised, takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail, is IT literate and has good verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience would be desirable.
