Claims Broker & Technician

An opportunity to join a highly successful Loyds broker and coverholder who specialise in European professional risks.
The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of DUA and Open Market claims from initial advice through to closure. Classes of insurance will include; D&O, E&O, P.I., public officials, healthcare liability et al, emanating primarily from Italy.
- Registering and processing claims.
- Working with local brokers, coverholders and loss adjusters to resolve issues
- Updating ECF & CLASS
- Preparing market and client claims documents
- Monitoring collections and arranging payments
- Dealing with Xchanging
- Negotiating with insurers
- Reconciling paid claims bordereaux
Candidates must possess a proven history of claims management within the Lloyds/Company insurance market, preferably from a broking background.
Technical knowledge of professional lines claims is required and fluency in Italian would be ideal, but is not essential.
This role will suit someone who is adaptable, resourceful and able to assume responsibility and ownership. The ability to manage clients expectations and develop relationships is a critical requirement together with the ability to effectively prioritise work flow.
