An exciting opportunity for a Contact Centre Team Leader to work for a fantastic service provider in Redhill. The business has a vision to plan for the future to ensure the services they provide utilise smart technology and always put the customer first. This an excellent opportunity for an analytical leader to support a large, growing team.


Your new role

As the Contact Centre Team Leader is accountable for supporting and monitoring daily efforts to provide excellent customer service and employee experience driving real-time (intra-day) management by utilising resources to achieve business objectives via multiple campaigns through their various channels (phone, email, live chat). You will be managing a team of Customer Service Agents on a day-to-day basis and assisting with recruitment/staffing campaigns.

Your main duties will include managing the floor of contact centre agents on a daily basis, organising shift rotas, lunch breaks, annual leave and planning to ensure there are no gaps in service and avoid satisfaction levels dropping. You will understand the planning and forecasting of staffing requirements and be able to perform continual analysis on current performance in line with business objectives.

You will be organised and data driven with a strong grasp of social media, multi-channels (email, phone and live chat) and strong knowledge of excel.


What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful you must have significant previous experience of working in a Contact Centre Team Leader/ Customer Service Team Leader position ideally within an utilities organisation with experience mentoring, motivating and managing a customer care team whilst thinking strategically around getting the best from your department.

You will be analytical and able to fully understand KPIs/SLAs and be the driving force behind monitoring service levels to ensure they are in line with business expectations.

What you'll get in return

In return you'll be offered a permanent contract with the opportunity to develop over time in a stable, growing team. Salary will be between £28,000 - £28,000 depending on experience with a fantastic benefits package including life assurance, 10% pension contribution, 23 days holiday rising to 27 with service and a bonus scheme. Hours are 37.5 with flexible shifts with potential working from home options.
