We are seeking an experienced and talented office based Front End Developer to join our growing ecommerce wine company on a full time basis. We are a multi-award winning wine company and the UK’s leading Australian specialist. The company has huge plans for the next five years with our online presence being at the core.

We are in search of a talented Front End Developer to join the team with previous experience in ecommerce retail. You will collaborate with our back end development, in-house sales and buying team.

A proven track record of delivery of high quality, accessible front-end web experience is essential.

In this role you will play a key part in the overall design process and product evolution, creating new features and not just patching existing content. We are seeking someone who can use some of the latest and emerging technologies and their creativity to the full. Talent and passion, rather than number of years’ experience is what matters the most to us. Along with a passion for what you do, you must have a keen eye for detail and be self-motivated in your work. You will be required to continually optimise and update our website for maximum efficiency and offer constant implementation of new and dynamic ideas. The ideal candidate will perform well in a fast-paced environment and be a great communicator focused on discovering and delivering solutions, gain feedback from colleagues and customers and be a strong team player.

You must have experience and a high level of proficiency in the following:
Apple Mac
JavaScript
CSS
HTML
Graphic design applications; ideally Adobe Packages
Excellent understanding of SEO principles and keeping up to date with new SEO technologies.
Monitor and manage website presence via Google analytics

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8.30am – 5pm, Friday 8.30am – 2:00pm
