Job Description
• Using Sage 200 & Credit Hound software
• Raise Projects and Sales Orders
• Raise sales ledger invoices/credits and monthly statements
• Credit checks to maintain customer credit limits and minimise bad debt risk
• Credit control – through to court action if required
• Process bank receipts allocation of payment remittance advice notes
• Working experience of CIS scheme - payment applications / retentions (desirable)
• Filing and archiving as and when required
• Answer telephone and direct calls accordingly
• Dealing with invoice queries and discrepancies and liaising with colleagues regarding any accounts discrepancies
Experience:
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is essential in particular excel
• A working knowledge of SAGE 200 / Credit hound software is desirable
• Ability to complete large volumes of data entry with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Knowledge of engineering/generator or other service industry would be desirable
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team managing workload to meet deadlines
• Proven track record in credit control ensuring debtors pay within agreed terms
Salary:
• Salary will be commensurate upon experience
