Cad Draftsperson / Designer (Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Electrical)

To use CAD to generate manufacturing drawings, maintenance and installation drawings, electrical wiring schematics and FEA calculations.

Assist with cost estimate preparation.

Reporting direct to the Product Development & Design Manager

Responsibilities & Duties:

Use software to create detailed 2D (surface modelling) or 3D (solid modelling) images.

Collaborate with others to establish timelines and budgets, as well as solve problems.

Ability to analyse data and scenarios and come up with creative solutions

Keep up-to-date with industry and engineering standards

Qualifications & Skills:

Extensive knowledge of Autodesk Inventor Professional and Autodesk Electrical

Sound knowledge of engineering design principles

Good numeracy and computer skills

Excellent communication skills

Knowledge of material properties

An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods

Good problem solving skills

Creative flair

The ability to work as part of a team

The ability to meet deadlines
