An excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional to develop their career as the firm expands its client tax offering. The firm is now looking to recruit a permanent Tax Senior to enhance the team and provide specialist knowledge and support to clients.

This Tax Senior role will have a broad portfolio of clients, including trusts and estates, non-residents and private clients. The position is mainly a compliance role, but will also involve lower-level advisory work. You will be looking after your portfolio of clients. You should have knowledge of personal tax, IHT, CGT and some corporation tax. Additional understanding of trusts and estate matters would be valuable.

Naturally, there will be regular contact with HMRC and the provision of support to other members of staff. Strong communications skills are essential to enable you to provide a comprehensive service to your clients. Support for candidates who are considering further professional qualifications will be given.

Staff work from the Sittingbourne office, but there will also be opportunities to work from home.

Previous experience of working in a UK accountancy practice or a tax specialist is essential.
