We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified person to provide a supportive role to the staff working within our Design Technology Department.

The Technician should play an active role in creating a working environment that is safe, well organised, and efficient.

The maintenance of equipment, assisting with organising orders, checking the deliveries and the monitoring of stock levels are all necessary for the preparation of materials and the setting up of equipment for lessons.

The ideal candidate will be fully IT literate, including in the use of CAD and have knowledge of safe operation and maintenance of a wide range of machinery, equipment and tools.

Working hours;
Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00 (with 1 hour unpaid for lunch)
(40 working weeks per year)

Saturday Working – occasional Saturdays must be worked, for which time off in lieu will be given during term time with the agreement of the Head of Department.

Holiday Working – you will be expected to work a set number of days before the start of terms and at the end of terms.
