An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced New Business Sales Executive to work within this well-established, innovative managed service provider based in Bermondsey. To date, much of their success has been due to client recommendation and they are now looking to recruit a New Business Sales Executive to build further upon this great reputation. If you are experienced within the IT Managed Services Industry, with a proven track record of delivering results, this could be a great opportunity to further your career with this trusted IT partner.

The ideal fit would be someone who has a self-starter mindset, a positive attitude and energy, motivated and driven to be successful. Whilst this role is heavily focused on generating new business opportunities, you will have full scope in time to develop and manage the sales function.

You will need to be able to demonstrate an impressive track record of selling solutions based around Managed Services; including Security Services, IT Support and Business Transformation.

Key Responsibilities

· Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings

· Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives

· Research organisations and individuals to find new business opportunities

· Find and develop new markets to improve sales

· Attend conferences, meetings and industry events

· Create quotes and proposals for new clients

· Developing a sustained pipeline of accounts by actively prospecting via cold-calls, marketing lead follow-up, personal relationships, executive introductions and marketing automation introductions to independently close contracts at a close frequency and value to meet or exceed productivity and quota expectations

· Developing, writing and delivering value-based sales proposals

· Investigating the client’s needs and, through a strong and deep understanding of all their products, recommending the particular product(s) that best fulfils the identified needs

· Articulating how the solution will fit and operate within the existing solution

The ideal candidate will have:

· 3 – 5 years of B2B sales experience selling a variety of Managed Services

· Have a proven track record in achieving sales targets and generating new business

· Must be sales-focused with the ability to self-manage and create an active pipeline

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to confidently converse with decision makers at all levels

· Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload

· Have the ability to multi-task and grow within a quickly evolving business environment

· Be positive in attitude and communication, with a can-do approach

· Enjoy working in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment, willing to pass on knowledge/skills to other team members

· Be able to demonstrate an ability to work autonomously and have a stable work history

· Have an interest in keeping yourself updated with latest product and market knowledge
