This is an exciting opportunity to work for a well-established construction services company in London that provide to both the public and private sectors. Due to internal progression within the company, there is a need to fulfil the financial management role within this business. This is a great opportunity to understand the complete finance function and be part of the team shaping the future of the business.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the overall financial function. Working with the Directors you would help develop financial strategy and the company business plan. Key duties include business planning and budget management, preparation of quarterly / monthly management accounts, preparation of cash flow forecasts, preparation of job costings, statutory reporting including managing the audit process, completing VAT returns, CIS returns, bank reconciliations and posting journals and managing the sales ledger function.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you have worked in the construction industry or similar, demonstrable experience in a similar role, and be ideally CIMA, ACA, ACCA qualified.
What you'll get in return
The position currently requires 3 days per week (or 24 hours via a flexible working pattern) and offers a salary of £60k per annum (to be pro rata'd to hours worked) with great benefits and parking onsite.
