Astell Scientific Limited is a well-established manufacturing company based on the outskirts of London and looking to recruit for a part-time position.
About the role
To provide administrative support to the service department, ensuring all administrative tasks are carried out accurately and within agreed timescales.
This is a part time position - 25 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls and emails via service mailbox
- Support and assist service manager and service controller with various administration tasks
- Generate quotes and process customer orders in an organised and timely manner - ability to cover for other team members when on leave
- Process calibration documentation and customer service records
- Any ad-hoc duties that may come up
Skills required:
- Previous service/sales administration experience
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail - data entry
- Proficient in Microsoft office products such as Outlook, Excel, etc
- Ability to efficiently manage workload in a busy open office environment - Ability to prioritise urgent and important work over non-urgent tasks
