We are looking for an apprentice who is enthusiastic with a genuine interest in customer service to replace our current apprentice who will be progressing to a new role within the company. You will join the business on a 1 year apprenticeship scheme with the scope to move to a permanent position.
Purpose
To be the first point of contact for customers visiting the agency or inbound telephone calls. To support the Customer Service Advisors and Agents and provide general administration support including booking customer appointments and sales calls.
Training
Full training provided (which may require additional travel and staying away from home in order to attend training courses)
Hours
Monday – Friday 09.00 – 17.00 Occasional weekends to support agency events
Required
- Ability to build relationships through effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service, attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good IT skills especially Microsoft Office and to use NFUM systems
- Able to manage own workload
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Hard working and great team player
- Min. 6 GCSEs A-C (inc. English, Maths & Science)
- Be able to problem solve and use own initiative whilst demonstrating attributes of honesty, integrity, due care, skill and diligence
- Desire to be the best
Desirable
- Knowledge of insurance
- Knowledge of NFU Mutual products
- Connection to farming / rural sector
- Own transport & full UK driving licence
