A Quantity Surveyor role for a residential main contractor.

Your new company
A well-established Main Contractor working with local authorities on both New build and refurbishment schemes across great London, with several framework agreements in place and numerous other repeat clients they are an extremely stable business with multiple successful divisions. Due to several recent contract awards they now seek a Quantity to join the commercial team to oversee up to 4 projects at one time.

Your new role
You will be responsible for managing all financials relative to your schemes, seeking to minimise costs, enhance value for money and achieve the required standards for quality. You will also assist in procuring subcontractors and materials via the buying department and be a liaison between the various in house departments to assure the schemes are being built to spec and budget in-line with the contract.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be working in a small commercial team overseeing 3-4 upcoming projects. You will be accurately reporting the financial and contractual situation of the suppliers responsible for, measure and assess the work undertaken and then submit detailed, accurate and timely applications for payment including final accounts etc
