OSA Fine Spirits Ltd. bottles, packs and markets distinctive fine spirits: whisky, gin and vodka to retailers in the UK and exports to a global network of distributors. See www.osawhisky.com. We are a world-wide brand and our recent rapid growth in the UK includes customers such as both House of Lords, Amazon, Morrisons, and other well-known retail and trade outlets.

The Opportunity
Our continued success means that we have recently moved to a new 780sqM production facility and this growth has created a role for an Operations Manager to take charge of our bonded warehouse, bottling and speciality packing operations.
This is a full-time role: 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday between 8:30am to 5:00pm and some flexibility is expected due to seasonal peaks. A ‘Hands-on’ approach is required with a mix of 80% production versus 20% supporting management activities. We invest in the development of our people and are always prepared to support further training.

The Requirements
The ideal candidate will be a key element of a small team: flexible, organised, self-motivated, able to prioritise with good attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Previous experience in a food and beverage production environment will be an advantage.
Key qualifications and experience include HACCP training to level 3, Health & Safety management inclusive of fire marshal and first aider qualifications and a good understanding of quality management in a production environment.
Duties will include goods in/out and stock control of our bonded warehouse, planning and oversight of our bottling and packing operations in accordance with our operational drivers which are health and safety, quality, specification, on time completion and efficiency.
Planning skills will require that you must be IT literate with good expertise with MS Office applications including Excel and you should expect to be in day to day control of hire, training and management of production workers.

Job Environment
You will be working with experienced and friendly people who are always happy to roll up their sleeves and pitch in where required. You will be taking order work order instructions from the Office Manager, and planning cues from the Financial Controller and our flat management structure means you will always have direct access to the senior management team.
We are proud to be delivering customer satisfaction internationally and you may take pride in preparing products for delivery to the different cultures in our global markets. Your job will be pivotal in accelerating the business through further growth and you should expect to become a key, integrated member of our tight knit team.

We want you to enjoy your time working with OSA Fine Spirits. As a valued employee, you will benefit from a competitive salary, working with a great team in a rewarding and professional environment with flexible working arrangements and opportunities for further career development.
