If so this is your opportunity to work for a leading facilities company carrying out all core vegetation management activities to enable contracts to be
fulfilled safely, on time, within budget and to quality and environmental standards.

In order to qualify for this role, you need to be flexible and happy to work a 40 hour week on a shift basis agreed in advance as the company are a 24/7 operation.

Day to day responsibilities/tasks are -
Carry out a variety of vegetation maintenance duties where appropriately trained /
competent including (but not restricted to) brush cutting, chipping, tree and shrub
planting, chainsaw works on ground, tree surgery works, knapsack spraying,
general vegetation and site clearance and plant operation inc Unimog and
attachments
Carry out site safety duties where appropriately trained / competent including
NWR safety e.g. PTS, Lookout / Site Warden and COSS
Adhere to all risk assessments and method statements based on internal,
external and client standards and requirements
Observe the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act, EC Directives
and client standards ensuring your own safety and that of your team, other work
colleagues and 3 rd parties by carrying out duties in a safe manner within
guidelines of relevant legislation and the company's policies
Carrying out daily checks on any works vehicle and trailer (where appropriately
instructed) including water, oil, lights, tyres and tow hitch mechanism, ensuring
the vehicle and trailer are kept clean and tidy
Carry out daily checks on any designated plant, tools and / or equipment and
ensure it is cleaned at the end of each working day
Being available for stand by / emergency call outs (e.g. extreme weather
conditions, potentially dangerous situations reported by clients)

Person Profile -
This role is as much about your attitude and determination as much as it is about your skills. If you have the skills and tickets already, great, but if you don't then please apply anyway as the client will train you if you have that right attitude.

Must-haves -
