POSITION PURPOSE
Reporting to the Sales Director, the job holder will drive the Telesales team to hit their daily targets in line with company expectations. This to be achieved through effective management of budgets ensuring that time management is apportioned accordingly across the team with account size and profit delivery in mind. The individual needs to motivate and supervise people to get the best results. The role will also require responsibility for individual territory management and delivery of monthly profit target.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: 4 GCSE's including English and Maths (A-C) as a minimum
Work Experience: Must previously have worked or supervised in telesales or within a fast paced sales environment. Proven experience in influencing and motivating team members to maintain and improve performance. Ability to plan, organise and achieve targets. Proficient IT ability and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are vital. Maintain accurate and tidy administration files.
Languages & Computer Skills: Fluency in English with excellent communication skills, business competency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint (Microsoft package).

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
The role requires an individual with strong commercial acumen, brand/category awareness with a strategic approach. Key skills required are: People Supervision, Planning and Organisation, Communication, Numeracy, Interpersonal skills, Coaching, Selling and Influencing, Negotiating and Communication, Analysis, Problem Solving and Decision Making.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
1. Supervision. The Telesales team will be charged with delivering monthly profit targets. The Supervisor will ensure the team are motivated and ready to perform on a daily basis to achieve said targets. Inspire and develop the team, improving skills ensuring that where applicable the team/individuals are trained and coached. Regular performance reviews and PDPs will underpin this.

2. Planning and Organising. The Telesales team need to understand frequency needs of the customer. They will create a plan to suit said needs and ensure subsequent contact is made at the required frequency. Incorporate in to daily call plan and manage each day accordingly. Ensure internal commitments are met; all administrative tasks and supporting processes need to be met. Be aware of time management and prepared to be flexible and change if necessary. The Supervisor will be required to ensure that all of this is carried out to the standards required and demonstrate best practice.

3. NPD, Special Offers and Clearance Lines. Ensure that all calls are aware of all product offerings and particularly focus lines for the business. Promote clearance lines, special offers and any new products from the Axis product range.

4. Lapsed and New Accounts. Plan in to each working day a contact strategy for lapsed (previously established accounts) and new business opportunities.

5. Budget Management. To be fully accountable for delivering against set budgets.
