Temp to Perm position

Location SandwichSalary £30k

Our client, a thriving healthcare provider based in Sandwich, Kent is currently looking for an Learning & Development Manager to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.

The Learning & Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the coordination, development and effectiveness of our clients Clinical Skills Academy.

Accountabilities & Activities:

* Provide support and direction to the wider Clinical Skills Academy training team inclusive of the clinical educators and administrative team members to facilitate the provision of learning, coordination of training sessions, workshops and in-house training requests. They will promote a progressive attitude to the continuous improvement of clinical education.
* Provide oversight and direction to the Learning Team in accordance with Wren Healthcare's policies and procedures whilst fostering a proactive and positive working environment in line with Wren Healthcare's values.
* Responsible for ensuring general management of those within their team including leave and sickness monitoring in line with the organisations policies and return to work interviews are conducted. Regular 1:1's should be carried out alongside performance appraisals that are recorded. Goals and objectives should be set for all team members in line with the needs of the business.
* Responsible for the creation and maintenance of related policies, procedures and processes for activities carried out and offered by the training team.
* Work collaboratively with the marketing and commercial teams to ensure consistency across marketing and branding of learning materials including social media. This may include devising ideas and strategies and presenting these, to the clinical leadership team when required,
* Ensure educational content is regularly reviewed by the clinical team and remains accredited and updated as required utilising the referenced resources available.
* Review and evaluate feedback from trainers and training attendees and report and escalate feedback and in addition to this providing training reports, handouts and certification to accounts following completion of courses with the support of the administration team and clinical educators.
* Support of the Data Protection Officer for the organisation the post holder will be the Data Protection Officer for the Clinical Skills Academy and will be responsible to field data protection queries from users and escalate where required and ensure all Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notices are accessible, relevant, up to date and compliant.
* Regular contact with stakeholders and customers and will be responsible for maintaining good commercial relationships arranging meetings and communicating with key contacts to support existing and grow further business. This will be supported by creating regular updates to be communicated to users of the clinical skills academy services.

Skills and experience preferred:Degree Level or Equivalent
Microsoft Office proficient
Diploma in management or equivalent
PRINCE 2 / project management qualification.
