The role:
Are you a dynamic, enthusiastic individual looking for new opportunities in a charity recently successful in winning new contracts? Join our new team in an established charity offering excellent training and personal development.
This highly rewarding role will involve:
Working with people living in Porchlight hostels, sleeping rough or at risk of homelessness.
Providing the support needed to overcome the trauma of homelessness and rebuild their lives, including helping them with mental health and substance misuse, accessing housing benefits, getting into education and employment and setting up home.
What you need:
-Excellent communication and people skills
-Some knowledge / experience of working with homeless or vulnerable people however candidates without this experience / knowledge will still be considered as full training and ongoing support will be provided
-A UK Driving Licence and own transport
