Finance Manger role @ to £52,500 plus attractive bonus, East Kent

Your new role
This newly created job has been registered exclusively with Hays Senior Finance. It is a key role not just in Finance but also across the business, will report direct to the Managing Director and involve extensive contact with other directors and senior management. Drive the continuous improvement of accounting systems, processes & procedures. Prepare monthly management accounts & commentary. Present findings to the board. Budgets & forecasts. Financial statements, business plans & reports. Working capital management and cash flow forecasts. Sales & margin reporting, identifying key trends. Manage & develop a small Finance team. Work as part of the senior management team to improve sales revenue, profitability & working capital.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant, ideally ACMA, although my client is happy to consider an ACA or ACCA with commercial drive. You will be a technically strong accountant who can ensure the company meets its financial & legal reporting responsibilities. Couple with this, you will a results-driven individual, who demonstrates a strong sense of ownership & commitment to achieving meaningful short & long term results. You will put in persistent efforts to accomplish the desired results and take the lead in driving initiatives & efforts to successful completion. You will generate & pursue fresh perspectives & breakthrough ideas. You will anticipate the evolution & future of the business and enhance competitiveness. You will make maximum use of leading-edge technologies, processes, tools & practices to make a significant impact in the company's growth & development.
