MEP Ltd is a class-leading subcontractor and engineering partner for the world’s biggest and most prestigious Aerospace brands.
We have a vacancy in our busy Finance department that would suit someone who works well in a dynamic environment with good communication skills, attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication. A self-organiser using MS Office and other software.
Previous administrative experience in a finance role is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
The successful Finance and Admin Assistant will ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our finance department, examples of key activities include:
• Verifying and processing invoices for timely payments along with filing of statements, invoices and other payments.
• Preparing and processing sales invoices.
• Credit Control.
• Promptly dealing with Customer/Supplier queries
• Checking and processing of expenses
• Allocation of payments and receipts.
• Bank Reconciliation.
• Various reports including Aged Debtors and Creditors.
• Processing weekly and monthly payroll.
• Ability to support to the Finance Controller generally, to ensure optimum efficiency in the Finance department.
Candidates with prior experience of ERP/MRP systems and a strong command of Excel are very desirable. This is full time position (39 hrs/wk) although for the right candidate, hours can be negotiated.
Salary to reflect skills and experience.
