REED Recruitment are currently looking for a Design Manager to add to our client’s team based in Ashford, Kent. The ideal candidate would need to be able show relevant experience with the below duties and within the steel sector.
The duties:
• Tender for new works
• Select subcontractors specialised in steel for project works
• Advise clients on materials to use and design which would suit their plan
• Manage the projects design to ensure that the project adheres to time frames and budget
• Work closely with estimators, site managers and surveyors regarding projects
• Ensure the clients spec meets legislation and regulations
• Conduct meetings with clients
• Conducting meetings, writing reports and presentations regarding to projects
If you can show the relevant experience obtained from a similar role and have experience with steel structures, then please apply!
