Lecturer in Horticulture
£23,903 to £32,157 per annum( Pro rata for part time)
Part time and Full time positions available

We are looking to recruit highly motivated Lecturers to teach across a range of Horticulture courses at Hadlow College. The successful candidates will need to be educated to degree level, have experience in industry and be passionate about their area of Horticulture. Professional experience in production, hard/soft landscaping, amenity horticulture or garden design desirable.

In addition to the requirements detailed above, candidates will ideally have teaching experience in a practical and/or classroom setting together with a teaching qualification or the willingness to work towards one. Courses are delivered across a range of provision types including schools, FE and HE, so candidates will also need to be adaptable, resourceful and resilient, have excellent communication and IT skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Positions may be offered on a part-time or full-time basis and will be based at our Hadlow site.

As well as a contributory pension scheme, health cash plan and free car parking, this post also attracts 7 weeks holiday each year (excluding bank holidays).

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and provide proof of their right to work in the UK. Where applicable, a prohibition check will be carried out.
