Procurement Manager
Up to £60,000 + excellent benefits

Our client, an established manufacturing company based in Whitstable, are currently looking to recruit a Procurement Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.
As the Procurement Manager, you willâ¦
* Be responsible for a team of Buyers
* Effectively manage all aspects of supplier relationships
* Calculate batch sizes
* Promote Supplier Relationship Management
* Have a strong focus on contract management
* Have a strong focus on supplier KPI's
* Coach and develop the team
* Work cross-functionally with key business areas
* Provide appropriate procurement input to New Product Introduction projects
* Review all aspects of performance from your supplier base
Person Specification:
* Degree in either Business, Economics, Purchasing, Supply Chain or other relevant discipline
* MCIPS Qualified
* Minimum 3 years management experience in a Procurement environment
* Proven track record of delivering cost savings
* Change management, continuous improvement and best practice development
* Skilled relationship manager with both internal stakeholders and the vendor base
* Excellent understanding of world market opportunities
* Compliance focused used to working in and with ISO regulated organisations
* Contract management required as a key strength
* Excellent negotiator
* Confident decision maker
* Able to influence and direct organisational change
* Excellent Interpersonal & Communication skills
