The University of Kent Academies Trust are seeking to appoint a Site Technician to join their enthusiastic and motivated site team and work at one of their sites, initially Chatham Grammar.
The role will operate as part of a team undertaking general day-to-day maintenance of the buildings and grounds and other site related activities. In addition, the role will also be required to support the external lettings and therefore there will be some out of hours and weekend working. You will work on a two-weekly shift system.
The successful applicant must be able to use own initiative and work well as part of a team.
Proven experience in a similar role is key and you must possess a trade, for example carpentry, plumbing, electrical. We will want to see the ability to be able to demonstrate an enthusiasm for wanting to work as part of a small and effective site team in maintaining the buildings and grounds.
