Assisting the Payroll Manager with the smooth running of the department ensuring it operates efficiently, legally and according to required timeframes. 1-year Contract – Maternity Cover
You will also oversee the in-house payroll processes including monthly pay runs with variable processing such as overtime and pension contributions.
Previous experience of working for a Charity or Care organisation desired.
You will need the following skills and qualities:
An interest in working in adult care services and a desire to make a difference.
Experience of working in an in-house payroll role and good all-round payroll knowledge.
A full understanding of PAYE and NI, statutory payments and deductions with a good level of knowledge of current legislation.
A commitment to a positive team working environment.
Be trustworthy and reliable.
Have an ability to clearly and appropriately communicate both orally and in written form with internal and external stakeholders.
The hours of work are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm and this is position is working in a lovely environment within a beautiful setting. 1-year Contract – Maternity Cover
