Year Six Specialist Teachers Needed - Canterbury

You will be working for a market leader that has exclusive partnerships with schools across East and West Kent. Hays Education has various teaching opportunities with our Partnership Schools across Kent. These opportunities are on a permanent, long-term or daily supply cover basis. Due to an increase in demand from schools in your local area we are looking for experienced primary teachers to take up the multiple positions we have available. We can offer you the opportunity to work flexibly, as many days a week as what suits your needs.

Your new role:

You will be working through Hays Education in a variety of local schools covering assignments that suit your requirements and expertise. Following Sunday's government announcement in regards to a phased reopening of schools, we have been speaking with local schools who are predicting an increase in the need of year 6 specialist teachers for term 6 to make up for the lost time in bulk bookings.

I work with various schools across Canterbury and East Kent ranging from rural, one form entry schools to large three form entry schools in MAT's. Our assignments range from daily supply cover to long term and permanent roles on a full time or part time basis. Supply work is an exciting role that allows you to have flexibility and a good work life balance taking up assignments that suit you. Furthermore, due to the range of roles we have available, we are able to ensure that you are able to progress in your career and take the next steps you are looking for with the support of your dedicated consultant.

To be successful:

To be a successful supply teacher you will have to be a confident practitioner with the ability to adapt with ease to different classroom surroundings. You will be a qualified teacher with QTS or have extensive instructor experience. You will also have recent classroom experience, teaching within the last three years. You must have a passion for teaching and the ability to present a professional manner at all times. You should be able to effectively form relationships with pupils and thrive in the classroom.
