Performance Manager
Full time position based from home with a base at Rochester Prison, Kent

Your New Company

The company you will be working for provide facility maintenance services to prisons across the South of England. They work closely with Her Majesty's prison and Probation Service, to deliver a range of facility services, including statutory and mandatory planned maintenance, reactive repair, cleaning, stores operation and project works.

Your New Role

You will be responsible for managing the Performance Function in order to apply advanced modelling and specialist analytical techniques to support effective service delivery seeking creative solutions and in order to make a positive contribution to the reputation and performance of the business.

The role will see you play a leading role in analytical support and evidence based policy development, proactively suggest areas for further analysis to generate ideas for improvements. This will see you identifying and driving the implementation of operational improvement and efficiency.

The role will consider all aspects of Facilities Management and will develop innovative cost effective solutions which increases the effectiveness of all aspects of Operational Service Delivery helping drive greater value for money

You will support the Operations Function and the wider business by Providing insight into the delivery of the business via the use of qualitative and quantitative data. They are also a key driver in the design and delivery of both systems based and process workflow training therefore the role is critical in helping the wider business improve delivery whilst looking at opportunities to cut costs via new ways of working.

In the role you will be responsible for the upskilling of the Performance Analysts whilst providing coaching within the wider business in how to proactively use data and management information to improve services.

The post holder must be able to deliver and manage the function with autonomy as supervision of the role will be minimal and will not be required for day-to-day activities whilst being regularly relied upon to deliver against deadlines and targets.

It is expected that the individual will develop and manage their own workload against the priorities of the organisation with supervision only required for escalations.

What you'll need to succeed

Certificate or Higher education, NVQ or key Skills level 4 HNC or equivalent experience as appropriate.

Must be able to demonstrate enhanced knowledge of analytical processes coupled with a high level of theoretical, operational and procedural experience.

This should be demonstratable via relevant 'on the job' experience, formal qualifications and accredited training.

Experience combining and analysing a number of data sets to proactively uncover strengths and weaknesses, highlighting data patterns to suggest possible improvements.

Strong proficiency in utilising a variety of analytical tools for data analysis- both quantitative and qualitative.

Experience in designing and creating analytical reports and dashboards for a wide range of stakeholders.

Experience of writing comprehensive reports, sharing and presenting analytical insight to stakeholders with various levels of analytical expertise and at all levels of seniority.

Quality assure and manipulate large and complex datasets. High proficiency in Excel is essential.

A demonstratable background working with statistical and analytical information is essential.

Experience working with CAFM systems is essential The use of G Suite would be advantageous.


What you'll get in return

A basic rate of £24.94 with 33 days holiday per annum (25 days plus 8 Bank holidays) This is based on a salary of £48k per annum. This would be paid via PAYE. This is a Public Sector role and would be unable to facilitate payment through your own limited company.
