SEN Teacher Job both full and part time required, long-term and short-term jobs - Dover

Your new school
Hays is working with schools that have behaviourally, socially and emotionally challenged pupils. They are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to work with them in a variety of different ways, on long term and short-term basis as well as in temporary and day-to-day roles.

Your new role
You will be working as a SEN Teacher providing additional support to pupils with additional needs. For your new SEN Teacher role you will be supporting children in both 1:1 and small group intervention sessions. You may be supporting pupils with additional support needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and Emotional/Behavioural difficulties. As SEN Teacher you will have the responsibility of running the classroom including classroom set up, planning of lessons and preparing materials.

What you'll need to succeed
You will hold qualified teacher status and will have School based experience in primary or secondary ages supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis. It is desirable to hold SEN qualifications and experience with a grade C or above in Maths and English at GCSE level. You will also be passionate about working with children with special educational needs.
