Job Title: Housing Support Worker
Location: Sevenoaks, TN13 - with travel to areas of Maidstone and Dartford
DBS: Full enhanced required
Driving?: Yes and access to own vehicle required (mileage to be expensed)
Contract Type: Temporary
Weekly Hours: 18 hours per week
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday ( between hours of 8.45 AM - 5.15 PM)
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver an excellent support service to a range of vulnerable clients to achieve agreed outcomes within agreed timescales.
*Comply with the Care Quality Commission standards in every aspect of service delivery.
*Identify and collaborate with the most appropriate partners to achieve positive outcomes for clients.
*Ensure all relevant paperwork regarding clients and the service delivery are maintained to an auditable standard.
Promote a positive environment ensuring all clients have an equal opportunity to succeed and their diverse needs are met

Essential Criteria:
*Ability to build rapport with vulnerable clients in crisis whilst maintaining professional boundaries
*Proven ability to deal with challenging behaviour and resolving difficult situations
*Proven communication interpersonal and written communication skills, and ability to adapt personal style to different audiences
*Understanding of safeguarding practices
*Experience of working within defined frameworks and complying with policies, procedures and guidelines
*Ability to adapt to a changing frameworks and ways of working
*Confident in using Microsoft packages such as excel and word
