Goldhawk Associates are supporting a large firm of accountants based on the North Kent/South East London boarder appoint a Personal Tax Manager. This role is reporting to the Tax Partner/Director and will be responsible for managing the tax department and to deliver tax services and run all aspects of the team and staffing.

You will be supporting a wide portfolio of private clients providing advice on personal tax matters relating to income and capital gains whilst supporting the Partner on projects and planning matters. Your client base will consist of personal clients, owner managed businesses and high net worth individuals and you will work with them to support them in business and personal matters.

You will be up to date with all tax laws and support them with regard to compliance, tax planning and mitigating risk. It is essential that you can build strong relationships with clients and be able to provide a high level of service. You will manage billing and fees and provide services within budget.

You will be responsible for developing business, networking, and representing the firm and promoting business. You will also be responsible for the development, training and growth of the tax team, proving support and coaching where needed.

It is essential that you are CTA qualified with previous demonstrable experience of advisory tax planning and management. It is key that you are a good communicator and flexible in your attitude and approach. A competitive benefits package is also on offer and salary will reflect experience.
