Are you seeking for a new career in Engineering? If yes then look no further. Our client are seeking for a Site Engineer You will be Responsible for the maintenance of all production machinery, ensuring faults are diagnosed and repaired in a safe and timely manner. Working closely with the Engineering manager to minimise downtime of the machines.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

To maintain the production machinery and carry out general maintenance and repair throughout the daily operation.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production Machinery

* Implement preventative maintenance measures and carry out regular servicing as required
* Trouble shoot and provide advice to machine operators.
* Repair and update machines taking production requirements into consideration.
* Train, in conjunction with the Operational Trainer, production staff on new and existing equipment as required.
* Ensure that all MHE is maintained in line with service requirements specified by the manufacturer and is repaired as required allowing for operational requirements.
* Perform other maintenance duties as required
* Supervising contracted staff

Administration

* Maintain appropriate engineering/maintenance records to ensure legal compliance and maintain inventory of equipment repairs
* Maintain glass and plastic check monthly.
* Maintain record of works done and service sheets.

Health and Safety

* Responsible in an advisory capacity for use of machinery and potential hazards.
* Responsible for personal safety when working with machinery in the company premises.

Qualifications and Skills

Candidate must have previous proven experience of working with Flow wrappers, Heat sealers. Robotics experience desirable

City & Guilds or equivalent in Mechanical engineering or Electrical engineering

Minimum 3 year's experience preferred, Able to wok will with minimal supervision, Effective communication skills, written and oral

IT proficient, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
