We are looking for a trainee Accounts Assistant to join our client in Sittingbourne.
The role will be supporting the Accounts Manager, where you will be trained to process the purchase ledger invoices and credit notes, process sales ledger invoices and assist with credit control as well as provide a full administration and facilities back up that involves meeting and greeting visitors, dealing with incoming post, checking kitchen supplies and managing the stationery.
This is a very busy, varied role, offering a great introduction to accountancy for the right candidate. Full training will be given on all aspects of the role.
The successful candidate will possess good IT skills, have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook and good attention to detail. This role requires quality not quantity as accuracy is of utmost importance.
The salary on the role will be at the age related National Minimum Wage.
