Stones Coffee Shop located in Stones Garden Centre, based in Sheerness, Kent require someone in the kitchen to help prepare orders from our menu. This would also involve prepping food.
As we bake cakes and scones from fresh the ideal candidate would ideally be skilled in baking, but this is not essential.
All the necessary hygiene certificates are required, along with an ability to work fast paced and under pressure in a small kitchen.
The hours are between 8am – 5pm – the hours would be based in this time frame but not necessarily those hours everyday and on a rotation based with the other staff. The successful candidate must be able to work weekends.
The hourly rate is minimum wage and you would be self employed for the next 6-12 months until the business gets established and we will then be implementing payroll.
