Has a vacancy for a Motor Vehicle Trainer
The Vacancy:
We are looking for a full-time Motor Vehicle Trainer to work with our existing dynamic team of trainers and assessors. The applicant must be prepared to travel across the South East and into London to visit and deliver training to learners in their workplace. Competency within Light and Heavy Vehicle is a must.
An advantage would be someone that holds a trainer qualification already however we will consider applicants who have experience in working within the motor vehicle industry and have specific experience holding any qualifications of relevance.
The company:
IPS international is a leading provider of Business Skills related Apprenticeships, including Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, Specialist Tyre and Fast Fit delivering work-based learning with fully equipped training centres in Medway and Dover.
The ideal candidate will be:
• Occupationally competent to be able to assess learners to a Level 3 ideally in both Light and Heavy Vehicle areas and hold relevant qualifications within English, mathematics and IT at Grade A-C (or equivalent) to support learners with Functional Skills. (Delivery of the new apprenticeship standards would also be an advantage)
• Well-motivated and able to work alone and as part of the team. You will be organised and able to plan your time effectively
• Be willing to embrace changes within the industry as part of a team and move forward into the new approaches to training
• Flexible, as there could be some out of hours work necessary.
• A car owner / driver
