Customs Entry Clerk
Location - Folkestone
Hours - 8.30am - 5pm
Salary - £25,000- £30,000
The role
Reporting to the Customs Entry Supervisor, the Customs Entry Clerk holds responsibility to ensuring that day to day entries are declared in good time to HMRC before vessel arrival. Maintaining records on specialised customs software including CHIEF, CNS, Destin8 and CFSP.

Our client provides an extensive range of services to commercial vehicle operators throughout Europe. These include roll-on and roll-off ferry freight bookings, customs clearance, European motorway and tunnel toll tickets and electronic tags as well Bureau de Change.
The person
* Minimum 2 years Customs entry completion experience is required
* You must have a sound educational background
* Excellent customer service skills
* Experience in deep sea customs
* Engaging, enthusiastic, self-motivated, confident, self-assured and a team player
* Due to the location must be able to drive
