Imperium Engineering is an inspirational structural engineering service, providing all aspects of Structural and Civil engineering.
We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer and Draughtsman to work in our Kent office and to work within a friendly and dynamic team and pleasant office environment. This role would suit an ambitious individual seeking career progression. Salary is negotiable, depending on experience.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
• Minimum of 5 years-experience, unless exceptionally gifted
• Ability to produce and work with construction and building regulation drawings
• Work with plan, section and elevational drawings
• Must be CAD literate
• Liaise internally and externally to ensure smooth running of projects
• Be happy working on your own projects and working to agreed deadlines/issue dates
• Ability to work under pressure
• Be a reliable individual with a positive can-do attitude
Desirable but not essential:
• Previous experience of working in an Architects practice.
• Able to question building control
• Previous experience of dealing with planning conditions
• Immediately available or short notice period would be ideal
