Temporary Teacher of Geography until Easter break

This secondary school in the Dover/ Deal area, are looking for a specialist Teacher of Geography. A fantastic opportunity to develop your career in a supportive and forward thinking environment. This is a temporary, full-time position to start immediately at least until the Easter break with the likelihood to carry on for terms 5 & 6.There is the opportunity for a permanent position for September 2020 for the right candidate.

Your new role
As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of pupils and be confident in your abilities to teach Geography - you will be needed for 5 days per week. You will be required to plan and teach up to KS4 Geography. The school is looking for an exceptional Geography teacher who can create a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for pupils of all diverse backgrounds. In addition to working well with students, you will also be able to demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach to working within a school environment and with other members of staff. To be considered you must have QTS or be a Newly Qualified Teacher.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be confident, creative & have the ability to drive all pupils to reach their full potential while having a passion for teaching Geography. You will have extensive subject knowledge. You will hold QTS in Geography. You must have recent experience within last 2 years in the classroom, and be committed, positive and enthusiastic.
